Mid-Year Assembly – 2021
April 23 - April 25
Due to the continued COVID-19 public health emergency and after thoughtful discussions with the AANA Board of Directors, the AANA Mid-Year Assembly will move to a virtual experience on April 23-25, 2021. As with previous virtual experiences, I am grateful that our online platform makes it possible to extend our vibrant educational programming to a broader audience while addressing emerging and salient topics in anesthesia and healthcare today.
While gathering in person at Mid-Year is not possible, our online experience offers us the unique opportunity to spotlight the best of what we, as providers and advocates for patient safety, have to offer and celebrate our collective resilience and dedication to making connections without boundaries.
Constituent advocacy is an important pillar of Mid-Year Assembly programming and will remain a part of our virtual experience. I encourage all of you to stand ready to participate in the AANA’s virtual Hill Day and/or virtual meetings with your legislators and their staff. Details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Thanks for all you do to shape the future of the nurse anesthesia profession through advocacy.
